Men's Taupe Suede Desert Boot (2010-02-10)
Got the Desert Boot in Taupe Suede because the seller was out of Beeswax and I must say I'm glad. The Taupe Suede is far more versatile and has a naturally "broken in" appearance. As far as comfort goes I'd give them a 7.5 out of 10. I never would have thought that I'd like them as much as I do.

I bought this shoe in black for a friend and he loves them. He had been searching for Desert Clarks for some time and was surprised that I found him a pair. Great quality shoe, the price seem reasonable for shoes, especially since they made my friend's day. They fit nicely.
A little pricey, but what I expected (2010-02-03)
Just as I remembered from my youth, other than the high price tag. As others have said, despite the "Clarks of England" box they come in, the shoes are made in Vietnam. But the quality is fine, and these look like they will last a long time. Exposure to water (like rain) creates spots on them, but they can be brushed out.
