clarks unravel shoes (2010-03-28)
Have Clarks unraveled in black and brown. Quality, comfort and size are as advertised. They are light weight and great for travel. Look good with jeans or dress pants.
New Shoes (2010-03-01)
tried this shoe on in retail stores and then bought them online. Got what I ordered in excellent time and the correct product.
Not What They Use To Be But Good (2010-02-01)
The older Clark shoes had an excellent foot bed and arch support system. These don't have that, but after adding Dr Scholl's arch supports I am happy with them.
Nice shoes. (2009-12-24)
A very nice pair of shoes. They are a bit wider than normal or at least look it but it may just be the style.
Amazing shoes (2009-11-12)
This brand and style has been my favorite pair of shoes for all-time. Bought in October of 2007, I've walked literally a thousand miles in these shoes, including moderate hiking and walking through parts of Europe. For leisure, they have outdistanced my usual choice of sneakers altogether. Rain, snow, hot weather, they are comfortable and durable; they wick nicely and remained completely waterproof for about the first 1.75 years. But they've held up for more than 2 years of significant wear now, the treads are still solid, the leather still buffs up nice. I wear them on weekends, to casual events, and even on days when I'm heading off to work. In Europe, this was the only pair of shoes I brought with me... on planes, trains, subways, hiking, walking, restaurants, tourist sites, etc. They always seemed appropriate anywhere, and my feet never tired of them. Ever. I have a 5-E shoe width, and the medium width on these has been no problem. The wide version felt a little too loose upon walking around in them, so I switched to the medium width for the first time in years knowng the leather would give over time... that time was about 5 days, and now, they fit me like a glove. The only concern I have is that the built-in supportive arch in each shoe has begun to break down; but a new pair of this shoe is on the way and now I have an older pair to kick around in during the rainy season in Portland, OR. One of the smartest purchases I have ever made. And made again today.
